I joined WOS in October 2022 as an agency worker picking customers’ orders then I was offered a permanent contract in February 2023. Before I joined WoS I had been working in retail for many years.

My current role is the Training Coordinator. My main job is to ensure that the colleagues here at Manton wood are provided with quality training that will allow them to develop the skills they need to do their job to the best of their ability.

I enjoy the variety that my role brings to my day, I can either be out on the warehouse floor spending time with trainers and new starters or I can be in the office at my desk. I really enjoy conducting inductions for new starters and doing colleague evaluations.

I have received lots training since I started here at WoS. I was initially trained on picking, scanning, cage building I then became a trainer which I really enjoyed doing before I progressed into my current role. I am developing new skills all the time and have the opportunity to attend training courses in the future to help me develop and progress.

My favourite sweets has to be a Sherbert Lemon, I also like to share a bag of chocolate peanuts with my dad.
