Paul Gilmartin

I currently work as an Area Manager, covering 5 depots – Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool & Preston.

I work closely with my depots on a daily basis to help them achieve sales and to make sure they are adhering to our policies and procedures. I also help them break down any barriers that prevent them doing their job. I work closely with Managers to develop customers by working closely with Head office teams to give the depot the tools they need to sell. This includes Marketing for POS and email comms as well as Buying to share thoughts on products to new listings. Everyday is different.

I enjoy the interaction with different departments and making a difference to the depots and WoS. My team are very close and work extremely well together.
WoS is a team, and you are not just a number. This is one of the biggest positives about WoS.

My favourite sweet is Toffifee – it holds so many memories for me.
